Steps to reproduce:

- Use https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/signtextjs/ addon
- Upgrade Firefox to v50.



Actual results:

- https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/signtextjs/ stopped working (it disappeared)



Expected results:

- No change from Firefox v49.0

This problem was caused by https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1284946

Compatibility functions should have been provided for these methods instead of breaking the ABI.
