After bug 1301055, we can replay HLS videos with the caveat that the player on the page will still show the "pause" button instead of the "play" button, because it doesn't know that the user has closed the VideoView. Dispatching the "pause" event when the VideoView is closed might fix this issue.
This bug seems no longer relevant after bug 1345752, which deprecates the VideoView for HLS playback. Close it as WONTFIX.
