User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:53.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/53.0 Build ID: 20161201030205 Steps to reproduce: I installed Nightly 53. The HTTPS Everywhere add-on has been greyed out and non-functioning since installation. I can click the add-on, but there is no functionality. Actual results: The HTTPS Everywhere add-on has ceased to function at all. Expected results: HTTPS Everywhere add-on should be redirecting a website to an HTTPS address if available. Currently, I am doing that manually.

it's from bug 1293305. the issue is tracked here https://github.com/EFForg/https-everywhere/issues/7676 and that specific issue from bug 1293305 is already fixed on trunk. (looks like there's one more issue linked from there tho
