Using Build ID: 2002032003 (0.9.9+) Windows 98. Open a browser window with print preview. Close the window. For example, click on the X in the upper right corner. This takes the browser window out of print preview mode. The second time you hit "close" will close the window. When you try to close the window, the window should really close. Maybe there is some interaction with the close button on the print preview taskbar. That button just takes the window out of print preview.
This is by design and closing the browser altogether (i.e., not restoring ``normal'' browser mode) could result in a dtataloss situation.

Why not restore browser mode and then close the window altogether?
This is spam, and I apologize in advance. If I open a new bug to close print preview windows by automatically restoring browser mode and then closing the window in one fell swoop, would that bug also be invalid? Thanks, and sorry again for the spam.
If it's an enhancement request it won't be invalid. Assign it to UE so we can consider changing the spec: marlon@netscape.com and cc me.
