Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:0.9.9) Gecko/20020310 BuildID: 2002031005 If you type a term into the title bar in order to search google, and press return without pressing the down arrow you get a standard "URL not found" or whatever. If you then try to go down to "search google" without changing anything, the term has turned into "Search google for "" '. If you change something in the title bar it's fine. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Type term in location bar, prefereably with spacs, of the form "blah blah" 2. Press return. Get error. Click OK. 3. Press down to search google. It has changed to 'Search Google for ""' , and cannot be activated until something in the browser window has changed.

It seems partly fixed in the nightlies (I'm on 2002032103 win98 - I had the same problem on linux, win98 and os X). Now step 3 show the correct thing, but if you select the "search for blah blah", mozilla tries to resolve once again "blah blah".
I confirm this bug on build 20020322. It was ok with the previous builds. Problems is only with google search.
