"Hembanken Värdepapper" is very picky, does not even support old Netscape or
Internet Explorer MacIntosh. However, the main service "Hembanken" works fine
with Mozilla.

I get this message. Nothing works so confiming
2002041903/WinXP
If somebody understands it, please translate.

Translation:
"Cacheing of Java applets over SSL.
The Netscape version of "Hembanken Värdepapper" uses Java applets. The default
configuration of the Netscape browser does not allow Java applets to be saved in
the hard disk cache when the applet is loaded in an SSL secure session. If the
Java applets of "Hembanken Värdepapper" are not saved in the cache, these
applets must be fetched every time, resulting in long waits. To allow the
browser to save applets in the cache, click the button 'Tillåt cachning över
SSL' below, which means that applets and HTML pages are saved in the cache. If
you want to restore the default configuration, click the button 'Tillåt inte
cachning över SSL'"
However, the problem is that the service is designed to not allow any browser
but Internet Explorer to use it.

The whole online bank site has been remade, and only Internet Explorer is
allowed in. I have changed the summary and platform.
This is documented (in Swedish) at http://www.oeb.se/Tillganglighet
Hardware: PC → All
Summary: oeb.se - part of site works with Internet Explorer on Windows only → oeb.se - online bank works with Internet Explorer only

one of the best references/recommendations I've found for encouraging financial institutions to support firefox is located at bankers on-line web site
http://www.bankersonline.com/security/security_browserthreat070204.html
It was written in 2004 during the download.ject attack, but much of it still applies today. This is a good link to send when contacting banks.

Site has moved to
http://www.danskebank.se/
My Swedish is nonexistent, but I don't get blocked at all. I do get an alert when trying to log in here:
https://hembanken.danskebank.se/html/index.html?site=OENB&secsystem=KO
that says
'Uppgradera Java - felaktig version
Se "Kontrollera din dator" i "Hur gör jag"'
I have no idea what that means, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't mean "IE only", so I'm going to mark this FIXED.
