pixel-07 connected to autophone-1 entered an error state 2016-12-21 evening where adb reports it as offline.

adb devices -l
FA6A10318917           offline usb:11-2.4

I attempted using powertop but was unsuccessful in recovering after a reboot. I also updated the android sdk tools (/mozilla/android-sdk-linux/tools/android update sdk -u) to bring adb to version 1.0.36 but this failed to alleviate the problem.

It may be several issues:

* It is not authorized and needs to have the usb debugging authorized. This seems unlikely.

* Bad usb port? Perhaps changing the usb port will resolve the issue. We may be at the maximum however. If so, we would need to either connect a small hub to a good port and connect the two devices to it or we will need to move the pixel-07 to a different host.
