User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Fedora; Linux x86_64; rv:50.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/50.0
Build ID: 20161213225041
Steps to reproduce:
ran firefox on Fedora 23 and left open for several hours. Attempt to fix by killing firefox window. Manually found and killed zombie firefox process
Actual results:
1) System monitor shows 100% memory utilization. Original utilization after firefox start-up was 50%
2) Zombie firefox process detected on both system monitor and using ps ax on a seperate Linux shell
3) Killed zombie firefox process; memory utilization went back to 50%
Expected results:
1) System monitor should show an even 50% regardless of run time
2) killing firefox window in kde window manager should completely kill all firefox processed
Could you save and attach a memory log from about:memory when the issue occurs, please.
