Details

Moz 0.9.9.+ (2002031803) Select "Use SSL Always" for SMTP server Select Alternate port = 465 Upon 'send'ing a message: (tcpdump capture inspected) TCP handshake complete (no more activity) Expect ClientHello from Moz GUI hangs attempting delivery 'Cancel'ing causes Moz to send RST to shutdown connection. Mail news never initiates the SSL protocol!!
Have you installed PSM ?
Full Install (not custom). Have you gotten this to work by some chance?
Memory Jog.... Bug 117640 also concerns SSL and SMTP problems (but prior to alternate port being implememted). Maybe these are related in some fashion (like the same state transition tables that don't handle SSL situations well?).
