User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:50.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/50.0 Build ID: 20161209094039 Actual results: The organisation I'm working in decided to provide a private Web RTC service for internal use only. This service relies on Jitsi and it enable exchanges between persons from several real estates which are spread in France. Our organisation is using Firefox for years. However, the team that build this service tells that only Chrome is able to use the Jitsi solution. This means that Firefox will be progressivly replaced by Chrome in our organisation. Expected results: Make Firefox as efficient as Chrome with the Jitsi Web RTC.
Component: Untriaged → WebRTC
Product: Firefox → Core
This isn't really actionable. In what way is Chrome better with Jitsi than Firefox?

I searched into documents which are intended to end users of my organisation. This WebRTC system offers screen sharing. In order to share the screen, an extension has to be installed into Firefox (>45) or Chrome. One of those documents told that the user experience of screen sharing was better with Chrome than with Firefox.

Again, this isn't actionable. In what way is it better?

The current version of Firefox is 45.2.0 ESR. The desktop sharing extension of Firefox provides a list of the desktop windows (by name) which can be shared. I tested Chrome and the desktop sharing extension provides thumbnails of the windows which can be shared. I'm searching for the main issue.

You can try out the improved screensharing with preview in Firefox Developer Edition. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/developer
Ok, thanks. I will reopen this bug if I find an other reason.

Well it is true, Jitsi report Firefox as not supported browser and the video quality other UX is very bad with firefox you can just try with https://meet.jit.si/mozilla-test-room and with Chrome to see the difference.
The problem on mobile is not so big because you cannot use it on mobile version instead ask to use the mobile app, if on FF fro android is changed as desktop version there are the usual problems.
