Details

Especially when the block of text is too long to be visible all at once, a click and drag to select it is impossible to control. When the drag goes off the bottom of the window, the contents of the window begins to scroll up -- so far, so good. When the end of the desired block is reached and the mouse is pushed back up into the window to stop the scroll and select the end of the desired block, the scroll does not stop, but continues running to the very bottom of the page of text.
