[OS:] All. [Versions tested upon:] 52.0a1 2017-01-17 53.0a1 2017-01-17 [Description:] Steps: Prerequisite: Save 2 username entries on facebook.com and other 2 on gmail.com 1. Go to imdb.com and select from the uper right corner "Other Sign in options" 2. Select "Sign in with IMDb" 3. Click on Email [Actual Result:] The usernames that you used for facebook.com login appears. [Expected Result:] I think all the usernames should be present in the dropdown, facebook and gmail. On Chrome all the usernames appears in the dropdown.
can work on this if someone mentors and what languages do i need to know ?
In Nightly 53.0a1 from 1-17-17, I don't see username & password filled in for imdb. I do see an autocomplete drop down (not password manager related) of usernames I've used on other sites. Selecting them will not fill in the username. If the above is the behavior you are seeing, then this is a close wont' fix. If this is not the behavior you are seeing (you are seeing the actual facebook usernames with a key icon next to them in the username field, and the password field gets filled in for you), then this is a real bug. (In reply to ovidiu boca[:Ovidiu] from comment #0) > [Expected Result:] > > I think all the usernames should be present in the dropdown, facebook and > gmail. On Chrome all the usernames appears in the dropdown. For now, we are not doing this. This may be a feature in the future for Password Manager.

Also, please test this on Firefox 51. This may be an existing bug rather than a regression.
:tanvi, the behavior is as you described and it reproduces on 51 as well. I agree at this point that this is more of an autocomplete issue, but I don't see why it would be a won't fix: the users that were listed when Password Manager had no entry for the field are not accessible anymore when i do have at least one entry for that particular site.

Thanks for checking! This means this is an autocomplete / password manager issue, but not one created by the in-context password warning. Since we didn't regress behavior, we don't have to fix this in FF 52, but can fix it later on as part of the password manager revamp that is planned for this year.
