Description

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:50.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/50.0
Build ID: 20161209095719

Steps to reproduce:

Browsing my facebook feed, by pressing the "j" button to go down on the page. Continued pressing the "j" button and facebook did not react anymore. Kept on pressing and firefox just gave up and crashed.

Actual results:

Firefox crashed after pressing "j" too many times.

Expected results:

It should have continued going down my fb feed if anything.

if you're using Ubuntu's (or any distro's) package of firefox, crash reporter is disabled there.
can you try Mozilla's build of firefox? crash reporter should work there and you'll get crash report in about:crashes after crash.

Hi Nicholas,

I tested this on Ubuntu 16.04 64bits with latest nightly.
Facebook page scrolls down the feeds when "j" is pressed but I could not reproduce the crash. Firefox is stable and responsive.

Could you provide "about:support" info as attachment?

thanks
