During the release of Firefox-51.0-build2 a wrong partial was questioned in the form. Ship-it sanity check failed it. RelMan amended the release form and resubmitted but for some reason the release blob information did not move from  "Submitted" to "Reviewed/Running/Complete".

On the other hand, release promotion started but no email to RelEng was fired to announce this release.

On a side note - that Ship-it editable release form could be done in a more intuitive way that is an URL. Filed 1332222 to track this.
Hmm, I suspect that amending the form is not enough. You need to mark the release as "Ready" and "Do eet".

You might be right. I'll look into recreating these steps in out staging instance. If so, we should not allow the "Do eet" without prior "Ready" or some sort of enforcement. Will get back to this bug as soon as I get cleaner on my plate.
