Steps to reproduce:

Go to menu "Bookmarks" - item "Bookmark This Group of Tabs..." - dialog window "New Bookmarks". Press the tiny button on the right to show the list of all the bookmark folders. Now try to resize the dialog window vertically.


Actual results:

The dialog window has stretched vertically, but the list of bookmarks has not. And the vertical size of the window does not save.


Expected results:

The list of bookmarks must be stretched vertically along with the lower window border. The size of the window and the list must be saved.

REPRODUCIBLE with official  German SeaMonkey 2.46 FINAL  (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:49.0)  Gecko/20100101 Firefox/49.0 Build 20161213183751  (Default Classic Theme)  on German WIN7 64bit

I will do some more investigation (relation to "Bug 1249536 - Too small height of Folder Pane in menu 'Bookmarks → File Bookmark ...'"? DUPs? Relation to other bugs in that area? Regression?) later.

I tried to save and change the height in bug Bug 1249536 but the dialog is used in a lot of places and every time something bad happened elsewhere. So I just opted for a more acceptable fixed height instead of the 3 pixels it was before and called it a day :) Some css guru might want to look into it. I am not.

b) 'Bookmark this Group of TABS' Dialog is very similar in 
    FF 54.0a1 (2017-01-29) (32-bit) and works fine in FF. So it might help
    to find out what FF does better than SM?
c) in FF the 'Edit This Bookmark' dialog does the function of 
   'File Bookmark' dialog in SeaMonkey. FF-dialog is completely different and
   not resizable. 
c1) So it might be appropriate to split this one in 2 Bugs
c11) Improve 'Bookmark this Group of TABS' dialog   (original report)
c12) Improve 'File Bookmark' dialog   (might work different)

   Already REPRODUCIBLE with official  German SeaMonkey 2.46 RC (Build 9)

e) For both dialogs
   Was still ok with  English SeaMonkey 2.45a1  (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:48.0)
   Gecko/20100101 Firefox/48.0 Build 20160308001946  (Default Classic Theme) 
   on German WIN7 64bit. so REGRESSION
c): With these new facts this no longer looks like a RFE, but like a
    minor regression bug.

  (Default Classic Theme) on VirtualBox Ubuntu 14.04.1
g) at least on Linux all the same with Modern Theme, so not theme related.
