Details
This is a difficult to reproduce bug that occurs rarely in XP when using dual
monitors and several Mozilla windows across both screens. Just mentioning it
with the other multiple monitor bugs while I am at it. I haven't gotten this
one to reproduce in Windows 2000.
In XP, with multiple Mozilla windows open it is possible to get into a state
where menus displayed for Mozilla windows in the extended monitor are
incorrectly displayed in the upper right corner of the primary monitor.
Mozilla build 2002031104.

Sounds like a dupe of Bug 130527. Reporter, can we dupe this bug against that
one or are these different problems?

I believe it is a different problem. It's not flickering, the menus are
anchoring in wrong positioning. It's as if the menus are trying to get as close
as possible to the correct position in the extended monitor but are restricted
to the primary.

I can reproduce this (or a very similar problem) on Windows XP by starting
mozilla on a machine configured for a single monitor and later enabling a second
monitor (without restarting mozilla). Popup menus are display on the original
monitor. If I restart mozilla with two monitors enabled, the popup menu works
on the second monitor.
This is probably an issue of the screen configuration being improperly cached
somewhere and not being updated by the appropriate system event.
