Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.8) Gecko/20020204 BuildID: 2002020406 every time mozilla is started it fiddles around with the mailbrowser registration of my w2k installation. This behavior is not changeable by the checkbox in the preferences that selects mozilla as standard mail broser or not. Even worse: If mozilla is not selected it seems to empty the registation every time its started, even if there is registered some other app. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. start MS-Outlook and say yes to "Do you want outlook as standard ..." 2. start mozilla 3. start MS-Outlook: "Outlook is not registered as standard mail browser..." Although I would like to Outlook seams not to be blamed for this. (Please send Hints saying I should drop Outlook an use mozilla as mailclient to /dev/null, this is a company default and thus not my choice) Actual Results: Outlook is deregistered as mailclient (standard mailbrowser) Expected Results: nothing !! Means: start up and leave the standard mailclient registration untouched.
This was a bug around the time of your build, have you tried a later build?
