Talos has detected a Firefox performance regression from push a19ac5da6082. As author of one of the patches included in that push, we need your help to address this regression.

:mattwoodrow, thanks for the heads up in bug 1325227, as you can see by this bug, we have a LOT of improvments and a couple regressions.  Here is a comparison view:

is there anything you can think of to reduce/fix the two regressions?  Possibly it is worth keeping those regressions based on the larger list of improvements.

After talking with Matt, he will keep looking at this to understand what's going on, but we're not going to track it for 54.

just circling back here, as this code is on aurora and wanted to see if there was any update in the last couple weeks- I know this isn't a priority.
