When Mozilla is installed, it provides the option to convert an existing Netscape profile. This conversion is very-well done, as it appears to convert everything, including all email messages. If the Netscape profile contains a large number of email messages, the conversion understandably takes a long time. Unfortunately, the user has no idea what's going on, and may assume that the installer has hung. A dialog box with a progress bar is, IMHO, necessary.
I thought there was a progress dialog (maybe it broke), but in any case this is a profile migration bug not installer.
