Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; AIX 0007099F4C00; en-US; rv:0.9.9) Gecko/20020313 BuildID: 2002031407 Popup menus don't go away on mouse up if they are created as a result of a click/hold. This is distinctly unintuitive. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Click/hold on the bookmarks button. 2. Move mouse to the side. 3. Let go of mouse button. Actual Results: Menu stays around. Expected Results: Menu should go away.
I'm seeing similar behavior on Mozilla 0.9.9 for Linux. This is not an AIX specific bug.

Philip, how exactly are you seeing this on Linux if Linux does not have click-hold context menus (this is click-hold with _left_, or only, mouse button, not with right button). To Pinkerton.

I am doing exactly what is described in the bug - clicking and holding on the "Bookmarks" button on the toolbar, moving outside of the popup window, and then releasing the mouse button. Doing this keeps the menu on the screen.
