Not really, everyone is busy with other stuff. I'm confused though - you marked 52 as affected, but we don't ship containers outside of nightly, I think? Do we expose this in the preferences when you're using the containers add-on? Loic/Tanvi?

about:preferences#containers is available in 52.0b7 but the containers themself are not (privacy.userContext.enabled=false in Beta by default).

Ok, about:preferences#containers is usable only through a link in about:preferences#privacy (like in Nightly). This link is not visible in Beta but the user is still able to type about:preferences#containers to access.
Apologies this was intended for Nightly 54.1a, that was an error on my part.

Both the "privacy.userContext.enabled" and "privacy.userContext.ui.enabled" prefs are available on all the channels but are only enabled by default on nightly. This will mostly affect nightly users and users who manually enable the container feature on the other channels via the two above prefs.

However, even if the container feature is completely disabled, a user will be able to access this portion of the preferences by simply typing "about:preferences#containers" into the awesome bar even though the feature is completely disabled. They won't see the "Containers Tab" section under "about:preferences#privacy" but will still be able to access it via the awesome bar. I've created bug#1345643 to address that issue.

It's disabled on all the channels including nightly so this shouldn't affect test pilot users. As mentioned above, they won't see the "Containers Tab" section under "about:preferences#privacy" but will still be able to access it via the awesome bar using "about:preferences#containers".

The "?" under "about:preferences#containers" should be pointing to the same site [1] that the "Learn more" link points to under about:preferences#privacy.

This button was completely removed in bug 1349689; it might have been invisible before then, it's a bit hard to tell and probably not worth figuring out at this point.
