Scenario:
1. Activate the responsive design mode
2. Select a device for testing with some parameters. Test
3. Change the viewport size.
3. for this same tab, want to test with the default UA string (in the same viewport size)
There's no possibility to go back to the step 1, except de-activating and reactivating the responsive design mode and resetting some parameters. :)
Yes, I agree it's a bit tricky at the moment!
I think UA testing is the main issue here because (unlike the other device properties) there is no explicit UA control in RDM at the moment, so it's pretty unclear (a) what the current value is, and (b) how to change it.
As for workarounds, you could:
A. Save another custom device with the default UA at the same size
B. If you drag to resize the viewport or manually change the dimension inputs, it currently resets device properties like UA, so you could temporarily set a random size, then put back what you had before to get the default UA
Obviously, neither of those are ideal, but they might be workable for completing a task until something better is available.
