Hi Jeff,

Can this bug be closed out when Firefox 57 Releases?  Only WE run in 57 - and WE can't access the legacy pref and user information (unless it's been migrated [1]).

Users have the ability to manually restore data if they lost vital info with upgrade - so removing it doesn't seem ideal right at cut-over.
