The format of the pulse job specifies the taskId as a slug-decoded uuid, instead of the actual slug that taskcluster uses internally. This is somewhat unfortunate and awkward, let's adjust taskcluster-treeherder to emit the taskId in the correct format. We can do a transform on treeherder's side to convert the taskId/retryId combination into a GUID that matches the old format.

I kind of don't want to touch this.  Ed, is this worthwhile, or just fixing what ain't broke?

I think perhaps this is something that could instead be done as part of (or after) bug 1395254.

Sounds good.  I'll dupe it there, as consuming directly would just avoid the whole issue.
