134215 - IPV6: dns lookups on news.bbc.co.uk fail

The latest mozilla, including M0.9.9 repeatedly gives me a dns lookup error on
news.bbc.co.uk, as well as other bbc.co.uk hostnames. prior to 0.9.9 I was not
getting dns errors. Maybe a few but unfortunately I don't remember how often. I
can however confirm that currently for me, this is happening with 0.9.9 and the
nightlies afterwards. I have checked with NN4.7.8 and Opera 6 and just plain
nslookup, and there are no problems.

mozilla has no issues accessing the website using the IP address.

I have also tried doing reverse lookup on the IP address, and it does seem that
reverse mapping is not set up for news.bbc.co.uk. I don't know if this is an
issue for mozilla.

All tests were done on my RH7.2 system (AMD k6II-550, 380M).

Sure enough, right after I posted this bug, mozilla's dns issue went away (for
the moment anyway).

It would seem that this might be a duplicate of bug 68796. my initial search was
not thorough enough. The dns failures might be IPv6 related.
I checked my kernel and it would seem I have compiled IPv6 into it. My nslookups
might have caused mozilla to be able to resolve news.bbc.co.uk, as suggesed in
bug 68796.
