Hey, can I start working on this issue for Mozilla's project (Connect Mozilla's Bugtracker to the World) in Outreachy?

Yes, please construct a patch using the directions for docker on https://github.com/mozilla-bteam/bmo and submit a pull request, the description of the PR should start with this bug number: 1344094
.
Once you have made the pull request, cut and paste the URL of the PR into a text attachment to this bug.
Is the link supposed to be added to the 'Edit Bug' interface?
Also, where should it be placed: below 'whiteboard' input or below all the inputs in that column?
Thanks!

The link should be at the bottom of the page next to Edit keywords
, using the link text How to request keywords
and link to https://wiki.mozilla.org/BMO/Requesting_Changes#Keywords.
Thanks for the help. Is this all right?

We might want to put it on a separate line, since it's not clear if it's part of the same link as the "Edit keywords" link :)

Or it can be aligned to the right of the same line?

I'm leaning towards the one in comment 11, I think that that's an improvement, nice work!
I'll leave the actual review to Emma here. Let me know if you need any more assistance with further work!

I also vote on comment 11. I can also review the PR once it is submitted.

Are you trying to push a branch to the main BMO repo on GitHub? If so you will need to create a fork of the repo and push the branch to your own fork instead. After you can create PR for the branch.
