1. launch the mozilla mailer.
2. click on some mails in my inbox.
   almost in all cases, the mail body text box will cover the mailer's status
bar below.
3. click on the "seperator" between the "mail list" box and the "mail body" box
to hide the "mail body" box and then click it again to display the "mail body"
box. All is ok again.

no, the whole mailer window is maximized. all is at their normal size. and I 
think the status bar should not be overlayed even when the whole window size is 
small.

My window size isn't huge (only maximized at 800x600).  I see this bug when I 
make the *message pane* small without changing the window size.  My guess is 
that this is a dup of bug 41994 but that bug 41994 needs a better summary.

I added 'or maximized' to the summary of bug 41994. I believe, now I can mark it
as duplicate. Reporter, would you please, review and comment.

If the "window size" means the whole application's window, I think that this 
bug is not quite related to that window size, rather, as comment #3 says, it is 
related to the size of the *message pane*.

so I think it's not a good idea to do that change to bug 41994.

and I wonder whether others can reproduce my step 3. I think it may be 
mentioned as a clue. :)
