User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:51.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/51.0
Build ID: 20170125094131
Steps to reproduce:
I clicked on a link to a PDF document.
Actual results:
The PDF document opened in the Firefox plugin viewer and displayed correctly. URLs appeared in blue and underlined. When I clicked on the URLs (E-mail address and web links), they would not activate and the cursor did not change to the usual "hand". I have circumvented the problem by using Adobe Acrobat Reader to view PDFs.
Expected results:
The same as in other browsers. The PDF document URLs work in IE, for example. I attach one of the offending files. I suspect the issue is that the URLs are not prefixed by http:// for web access or mailto:// for E-mail addresses and the Firefox plugin does not recognise them as such. Other browsers (e.g. IE) seem to be able to be able to identify URLs and insert the necessary prefix.
I have no problem with URLs in documents created using MS Office Word (2007 or later) or Open Office Writer that are exported as PDFs. Since the URLs in the PDF I attach (it was sent to me by E-mail from a colleague) work in IE, I assume they should work in the Firefox PDF plugin.
