There is a cartoon style movie on the page. It starts playing, then restarts and
restarts and ...

Video spills sometimes over on windows on top of this one, just for a second and
then disappears again.

Sound becomes ok by right-clicking in the picture and then leaving the menu on
screen.

Netscape 4.79 works ok.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.load page: http://www.consumerfreedom.com/game_radio1.cfm
2.playing starts automaticlly
3.

Actual Results:  plays the start over and over.

Expected Results:  play the whole clip.

Can you try to upgrade the flash plugin ?
(could be a problem with r41)

ooh, I selected the option to listen to the sanck ad and I crashed big time. 
When I selected the add, a new page displayed, QuickTime started to load and 
then within 10-15 seconds it just crashed. Using the current trunk build 
(2002040103), QT version Quick 5.0.2

yup, i confirm that. is this again a problem with QTS and not the browser? but 
the real problem mentioned in this bug is not reproducible for me (flash 
relooping).

Want to add comment, hope this is right way.

A few answers:

disk cache is 8192KB
Will try to upgrade plugin, does anybody want to have a copy (of the old) for
tests? (Attached)
I have also Quick time 5.02

The amount of playing before restarting is not fixed, but somewhat random,
maybe only tenths of a second.

Tested on Linux, runs fine with plugin ver. 5.0r48 (Mozilla standard v. 0.9.9)

Two more comments:

I have downloaded a new version of shockwave plugin, v. Shockwave Flash 6.0 r23

Same result! BUT

This bug might need a new title.

When I right click on the animation, I get the QUICK-TIME menu!!!

I believe I should be talking with shockwave?

Why is this? Any ideas?

Please go to systemcontrol/Quicktime/mime-type and unselect flash.
(quicktime can handle flash AFAIk)

Good news, going to Quick-time mime-settings and deselecting flash AND the
streaming formats did the trick.

Unselecting ONLY flash format files was not enough.

Open question left from this:

How should this be handled in some elegant way = some way that even my mom would
be able to handle? (I did not change the defaults on the apple plugin.)

I would say WFM since flash does not appear selected ( by default)...at least 
for me. But if quicktime is playing with flash mime type, then we shud send this 
to evang. Thx for your help with all plugin bugs, Matti !!
