[Steps to reproduce]:
1.Launch Firefox with clean profile.
2.Navigate to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ 
3.Click on the “+Add to Firefox” button to any add-on, for example https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/?src=hp-dl-mostpopular 
4.After the pop-up is displayed change the focus by minimizing the web page.

[Expected results]:
- The pop-up does not persist on the desktop screen after the web page is out of focus.

[Actual results]:
- The pop-up persists on the desktop screen after the web page is out of focus.

I suspect that this issue was regressed by Bug 1004061

Yup, this is a known issue that will be fixed in bug 1345449 and likely uplifted all the way to 53.
