I'm currently using Opera 43 and position:sticky works for me. The page states no compatibility with Opera for this rule.
http://caniuse.com/#feat=css-sticky show compatibility with Opera.
I've fixed the compat data on the old compat table on the page. The trouble is that this page is one of the ones using the experimental new compat tables with information fed from the database and all that goodness. I'll have to investigate how to update that data.

I'll leave this bug open for the moment.
