It seems that the mail message windows are being reused.

I several time have seen things left behind in a newly opened message window.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a web page
2. Mail it as an attachment
3 [details] [diff] [review]. Press "New Message"
4. You might see "leftover" text/attachments in the newly opened message window.

Somewhat related to this is that it is visually annoying when the previous
mailing addresses are being cleaned from the newly opened window (especially
when there were several of them listed).
Yes, message windows are reused. They should be cleared first though...

Do you always see this? Can you provide steps that reproduce the bug
consistently? I can't reproduce the bug with your steps on linux build
2002-04-01-08.

No, the wrong body/attachment I first have seen with 2002040103.

I do see the clearing issue consistently (simply create an email and cc: it to
lot of recipients, even 4-5 may be enough).

What I also see sometimes, is incorrect specification for the bcc: when
switching email accounts (it sometimes comes up as to:), but this may not be
related.
Also can't duplicate reliably, but I've seen this in Linux 2002041008.
Sometimes my signature and part of the previous message will be attached twice,
especially if I've closed the window before sending.

I can reliably reproduce one variant of this bug.
1. Enable recycled compose windows (if it is not already enabled by default)
2. Compose a new HTML message
3. Open Page Colours and Background
4. Click Advanced Edit
5. Add some inline styles (background of url(about:logo) works well)
6. "Close" the window
7. Compose another new HTML message
Expected results: blank document.
Actual results: inline styles still exist in message.
Note that my patch to bug 192557 will fix this for editing drafts/templates.

Neil, do you still see this? You're it - reporter is gone, although Peter reports he hasn't seen it in Thunderbird.
