Once the dependent bugs are fixed we might be able to get rid of it. This would be a win for codesize, albeit a temporary one since we're eventually planning on using rust-url in Gecko.
A number of things rust-url uses can be slimmed down; I've already submitted servo/rust-url#291, and there are some further wins in the unicode crates used by rust-url.
Submitted servo/servo#16297 for removing servo_url dependency.
So with that change, we removes three third party crates in addition to several servo crates: https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/autoland/rev/3c627663f097
