Somewhere after 0.9.9, i guess with introducion of 'min font size' option, speed
of zoom descreased significantly.

I use to often change text zoom of webpages using mouse wheel, and now it is too
slow.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. go to text-rich page (mozilla.org would be fine)
2. select menu view->Text Zoom->150%, wait till it completes
3. now check this on 0.9.9 release -- it was much faster that time.

btw, i don't use freetype:
pref("font.FreeType2.enable", false);

This bug was present for a month or so, but was fixed a couple of days ago.
Please mark duplicate of Bug 138436, "Changing text zoom freezes browser, system".
