I like being able to filter synced tabs that way, is there a reason we can't sync that pref?

Just to comment in case we don't get to this during triage later, and because I only just noticed this bug: I think if you are modifying it, it's not too much to ask that you manually make it synced it by setting "services.sync.prefs.sync.services.sync.engine.tabs.filteredUrls".

IMO most users shouldn't touch it nor should we encourage them to.

Good point, if a user a proficient enough to modify that pref they can probably create another one.
I don't mind resolving this as WONTFIX.

From triage: This pref is also used to prevent you from sending filtered tabs (for example, blob: URLs are meaningless on other devices). We don't want to encourage users changing this pref, since we've changed the RegExp several times. Thom suggests adding a separate pref for filtering URLs, instead of storing the RegExp source directly.
