From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.9) Gecko/20020311 BuildID: 20020403 I just updated 0.9.9 to the latest build , but when trying to launch it just "stops". Only the window borders loaded , not the buttons , top-menus (file , view , ...) and the webpage itself. Kinda hard to explain so I added an image : http://users.belgacom.net/gc793307/mozilla.jpg When I try to close the browser I get a "this program has ..." , here are 2 Talkback IDs : TB4790715Z & TB4790667H I reinstalled 0.9.9 for now. (seems to be working ok) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.install 20020403 over 0.9.9 2.launch browser Actual Results: can't browse or do anything except closing & crashes when closing Expected Results: working browser ;) TB4790715Z TB4790667H
added image of browser as attachment too.
Reporter: Have you installed your build over 0.9.9 ? If yes: Please uninstall/reinstall mozilla
and if you still see the problem run "mozilla -profilemanager" and create an additional test profile.
this seems to be a duplicate of bug 135222. reporter, you need to fully delete all your previous install, and then go to a new build.
Doing a clean install works (well , just installing this build in another dir is enough to make it work). I also tried to make a clean install of 0.9.9 and directly update to 20020403 , but it failed the same way as before. (dunno if u call that a bug or not)
