Currently, balrogscript handles only nightly/release blobs pushing to Balrog. That means no rules/channels update happen whatsoever. However, when we rolled out 'releases' behavior for balrogscript in bug 1341352, we took a step ahead and included those in the balrog scriptworker side configs. At this point they don't matter and lie down unused. 

But in the bright future, we'd want to teach and extend balrogscript behavior to also do the rules munging and channels update. For when that happens, we'll need to pay fully attention to what credentials we use per channel and which branch pushes to which (bug 1341797). 

This bug is also tracking any other cleanup stuff that we're supposed to do before we'll start using this channel behavior.
Cleanup reminder needed:
* we need to backout https://github.com/mozilla-releng/scriptworker/pull/104 once we're ready to switch to channel use in order to avoid polluting by accident nightlies from `date` or other dev-branches.
Back to the pool, not under my radar.
