1. de-installation does not remove mozilla from my pc.
2. java-plugins doesn't work

okok... I start from top.
1. I installed mozilla 2002031104 on my pc
2. I checked java and got "Click here to install plugin"
3. I installed hava 2 runtime (1.3.1_02) 
4. I restarted the browser
5. I check help->About plugins. java is available
6. I tried http://www.heise.de/ct/browsercheck -> Java
7. I got the boring "Click here..."
8. I deinstalled Mozilla
9. I loaded the new build 2002031106
10. I tried to install the build. Still I got the same build # in the header line...

Please read the release notes. There is a bug in the Java installer.

If Java doesn't work, make sure the following is true:
On Windows:
Copy the NPOJI610.DLL from C:\JDK*\jre\bin to "\plugins" directory of your
installation.

It's npojo600.dll if you use JRE1.3 and npoji610.dll for JRE1.4
