Details

Using build 20020405 on winxp and win2000 the twisty for a thread becomes flakey
if you delete a middle message of a thread of 3 or more same messages. Paul W
pointed this out to me and I was able to reproduce it on my Windows system not
my linux. An example is needed here:

1. I have 3 copies of a message notifying the smoketest passed in my IMAP account.
2. I sort by thread and see one as the parent and 2 others as threads.
3. I select the middle one and click the delete button.

Result: The message is not removed from the thread pane and now has a twisty of
it's own.
4. Click on the twisty and the message now reappears as if I had not deleted it
and the twisty is gone.
5. Select the message again and Delete again
Result: The message moves to the 3rd postion in the thread, the subject &
sender is now blank and the date is 12-31-1969
6. Edit Undo|Delete and the message moves to the 2nd postion, still blank and
with the 1969 date.
7. Leave the mail window, come back now there are 4 messages all with the
correct subject and sender and date.
8. Reorder by Sender, you still have 4, then sort by thread again, now there are
threee messages in the thread, but the twisty has moved up to the message above
this thread (it shouldn't have a twisty).
At this point I don't know what message has been deleted.
I just saw it happen on my linux system, changing to all

We already have a bug about some of this, I believe, particularly the Undo
portion. Will find it.

At least one of the bugs I'm thinking of is bug 93923
The other bugs had to do with collapse and expand causing either eaten messages
or replicated messages... "eaten" is bug 121459 and the other I haven't located.
Mozilla 1.1b nightly build
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; SunOS sun4u; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020901
I can not reproduce this bug in my solaris.
