TPS failure for test_sync on ubuntu: places item not found; Item not found at the expected index, got 4, expected 10 for folder (location: menu, folder: foldera)

I haven't dug into it, but it definitely happens on AWS, and not on my local mac. I suspect (read: hope) it is all Linux (or Ubuntu) where the failure occurs, and not just on AWS.
Either way, this prevents TPS from passing on AWS. :(

I'll give this a twirl on my home Linux box, and see if I can trigger the problem.
