[Affected versions]: Firefox 55.0a1 (2017-04-26) [Affected platforms]: Windows 10 64-bit Ubuntu 16.04 32-bit [Steps to reproduce]: 1.Launch Firefox with a clean profile. 2.Navigate to about:config and set extensions.allow-non-mpc-extensions to false. 3.Go to about:addons -> Extensions tab. 4.Search for an add-on (e.g Silent Block) using the search bar displayed in the top right corner of the page [Expected Results]: A proper multiprocess incompatible message appears only for non-mpc add-ons. [Actual Results]: - “[Name] has been disabled since it is not multiprocess compatible” error appears for all add-ons and webextensions. - The current error is not even applicable for non-mpc add-ons and should be reformulated because the add-ons are not installed. - See attached screenshot.
