User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.10; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0
Build ID: 20170302120751
Steps to reproduce:
Firefox 53 on Mac OS 10.10.5 (Yosemite):
Select some text on a web page
select menu Firefox > Services > <any service>
for example Firefox > Services > Summarize
Actual results:
The service doesn't work (e.g. in the case of Summerize it comes up empty)
The system logs shows an error message:
Apr 28 16:41:51 cochabamba.vanoostrum.org firefox[79021]: Object ChildView 0x1404c2580, gecko child 0x140928000, frame {{0, 0}, {1040, 741}} could not or did not write the selection to the pasteboard in preparation for a service request
Expected results:
The service should have used the selected text.
It does work in Firefox 52, so I went back to version 52.
