1365700 - Can we migrate content created April 2017 - Move Back Date in kitsine to Lithium?

One of the issues mentioned moving between platforms has been data loss of previously posted questions, posts, and article content and comments. If possible, this bug is meant to explore a solution for preventing/minimizing that loss or to have a plan to maximize the customer experience moving back from one platform to another. 

User stories to consider: 
I am a user that post a question that is still unsolved a few weeks/days before the move date and I cannot access my thread. 

I am a user looking for help/contributor that cannot log in to the site now. 

I am a contributor that contributed to the forums, knowledge base, and localization that does not have these noted on my profile. 

I am a user that created content that is not on this new site. 

I am a user that translated articles that are not on the new site. 

I am a user that is clicking on a link in a support question or a bookmark in my Firefox that no longer shows the content that was there before. (I believed this covered by redirects?)

What about contributors discussions will all of those be lost.

Presumably any and all KB discussions will also be lost.

Will L10n people need to track their own changes ? 
Not too sure what is meant by
