User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.10; rv:53.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/53.0
Build ID: 20170518000419
Steps to reproduce:
Bug is most visible:
1. Open System Preferences > Accessibility
2. Uncheck Reduce transparency
3. Open Firefox
4. Click Bookmark Folder in Bookmarks Toolbar
5. or click Bookmarks button in toolbar and hover a bookmarks folder in that menu
Bug is less visible but still there:
1. Open System Preferences > Accessibility
2. Check Reduce transparency
3.-5. Same as above
Actual results:
In menus from the FF toolbar the typeface is much bolder and unsharper and favicons and folders are darker than in menus from the Mac system toolbar.
Expected results:
Rendering of bookmarks (typeface, favicons, folder images) in menus coming from the FF toolbar should be the same as in menus coming from the Mac system toolbar. Like in Safari and Chrome.
Additional info:
- Restart in Safe Mode doesn’t make a difference.
- Can be reproduced in a new FF profile
- I use a Apple Cinema HD screen, not a retina screen
