From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:0.9.9) Gecko/20020310
BuildID: 2002031005
I would like to turn Mozilla Mail off completely and have the Mozilla browser
send mailto links to the OS to send off to my preffered email client. I would
still like to use Mozilla News, although I would be willing to give that up to
be able to disable the whole component. Please make this possible in future
versions of Mozilla.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Launch Mozilla
2.Get **** off because Mozilla is trying to access you email account instead
of your preffered email client.
3.Curse at the developers of this software for binding this wonderful browser to
this mail client, and not allowing us to use our own mail client.
Actual Results: I get frustrated and must copy the mailto address from Mozilla
Mail to my preffered mail client to compose mail.
Expected Results: Ability to have the Mozilla browser send mailto links to my
OS to deal with, so that I may use a better email client
Please fix this problem and allow us to disable Mozilla Mail.
