Details
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.9) Gecko/20020310
BuildID: 2002031008
with the release of 0.9.9, I often have to move my mouse OUT of the compose
window and back INTO it in order for the focus to reshift in to the address part
of the compose window.
I'll have the focus in the text part... but can't type any addresses until
shifting focus.
It's very bizarre.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. cntl-M to create message
2. attempt to click on the To: field (focus doesn't shift)
3. move mouse out of window
4. move mouse back into window
5. clink on To: field. it works

does this happen only the second time you open composer?
if so this is a duplicate of bug 130581

Response from reporter:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
I just tested that...
It's not all the time. But does NOT appear to be on the first attempt.
(started mozilla... cntl-2 to start messenger (with obligitory security
device unlock... then cntl-M... focus was fine)
cntl-Wed that window... cntl-M... bad focus.
I'm happy with it being declared a dup.
