In Firefox Nightly 55.0a1 (2017-05-22) (64-bit), although I have noticed this for some time, opening the About dialogue whilst an update is downloading pauses the download. If the dialogue is then closed and opened again, the download resumes.
Not sure if what I describe above is the expected behaviour, but I would naturally expect the About dialogue to just show me the status of the update.

I am fairly certain that we no longer pause the download when opening the about dialog. If this is still an issue please reopen. Thanks!
