https://wiki.mozilla.org/Help:Images_and_other_uploaded_files#Uploading describes uploading but MediaWiki is confusing; an 'Insert file' dialogue with no way to select the file that is to be uploaded. 

I imagined that I would be able to store the images here, for use in the wiki, but (unless I'm missing something) I can't get a suitable URL for the first attachment, 1.png

If I aim to insert a file at <https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=File:A&action=edit>, the 'Insert file' dialogue includes an 'Upload' button alongside the 'Insert' button (confusing, I have not selected anything to upload or insert). Clicking Upload presents a dialogue with an option to select, then clicking select leads to another dialogue where (finally) I can select a file. But <https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=File:A&action=edit> is not where I want the file to be. 

If I aim to insert a file at <https://wiki.mozilla.org/Tabbed_Browsing/User_Interface_Design/Possible_Features> there's a similar 'Insert file' dialogue with no Upload button alongside the Insert button and so, as far as I can tell, no way to select what's to be uploaded or inserted. 

MediaWiki makes me want to poo. Help.
