When enabling gfx.webrenderest.enabled/gfx.webrendest.enabled the light theme that I use for Firefox is applied also on the website itself and the icon where there is a counter have a wrong background. I am use also the extension Beyond Autralis as you can see from the screen.
Seems that doesn't happen only with gfx.webrendest.enabled and I am using Linux
THis happen with all the website that doesn't specificy a body as I can see

(In reply to Daniele "Mte90" Scasciafratte from comment #0) Nightly 58 x64 20171030103605 de_DE @ Debian Testing (KDE, Radeon RX480) layers.acceleration.force-enabled, gfx.webrender.enabled WFM. Personas are not breaking out of toolbars. (There were some similar-looking bugs and they got fixed.) Daniele, can you confirm this?
Seems now that the bug is not happening anymore.

Happen on boot of Firefox with this flag enabled, there is only the color theme loaded that go across website. After the finish of loading remain in that state. When I open the menu the theme is loaded correctly (also with the image) and the color theme don't create issue anymore.

Attached video screencast of the issue
This happen when I start Firefox, so a screencast can be more useful then a screenshot
Which Linux distribution, architecture, graphics card, desktop environment (KDE, right?) and theme are you using? Can you reproduce this in a fresh profile (about:profiles) with layers.acceleration.force-enabled, gfx.webrender.enabled, gfx.webrender.blob-images (restart profile after flipping prefs) and your custom theme? (If not, which addons are you using?) Nightly and VLC were not able to play your video, but SMPlayer+mpv could: Does your custom theme change you cursor? (Who does it?) When you click on the burger button you have a KDE mouse cursor: I have a thick white border around the burger menu and other panels when using WebRender in a fresh profile, you don't have that.

Disabling that parameters now there are no issues, I am using Debian Sid on KDE with https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/a-web-browser-renaissance/ Using other Firefox like dev edition with that flag enabled doesn't show that issue.

(Nvidia) (https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/7asdjy/nightly_webrender_testing_config_question/)
Yes seems that same bug and I am using Nvidia with proprietary driver.
There is something else I can do it to give more informations? I am using nightly so I don't think to have debug symbols on my system.
Not at the moment, thanks. It's just that we have a limited number of people working on webrender and there are higher-priority changes that we need to make before we get around to fixing this one.
Can you still reproduce this?

Dropping priority since this is a linux-only bug(?), and windows is the only focus for the upcoming release.
Priority: P1 → P2
Does this still happen?
Flags: needinfo?(mte90net)
As I can see with the 2 settings enabled in Firefox the problem is not happening anymore.
