I visited www.attws.com to pay my bill, and when I got to the payment page, I
saw that the security "lock" on the status bar was un-locked. I was shocked. So,
I opened IE and went to the same page. The lock, in IE, was closed.
I closed mozilla and the quick start agent, waited for a few minutes and
re-started mozilla, and went to the same page. This time, the security lock was
locked! Paid my bill and went ahead.
I am not sure if this is a bug or not, but I think, it would be great if someone
can look into it.

Were you using tabs by any chance?

Please try a later build. Work has been done on the lock icon and tabbed browsing.

I might have been using TAB (key) to navigate.
I always use TABbed window to browse. this might be the problem. As when I
re-started it, I had only one tab (whole window) - and it worked :)
Will download latest version later....

this is a dupe of bug 101723
the fix was checked in 3/21/2002 .. so all of the recent nighlties won't have
this problem
